Years ago my sister noticed that I had begun drawing again and brought home several empty books she had found at a book store. As I flipped through their blank pages, I couldn't wait to fill them with various colors and shapes. Images from my past and creatures withing my thoughts. But soon after the dancing hues were mingled with words. For as long as I can remember I used my imagination to comfort me, distract me and to shadow the sheltered world I was born into. They would linger in the back of my mind until they faded into the darkness of my forgotten memories. I found that with those books the stories not only came to light visually but I began to feel passionate about my work. At first a way to escape reality but eventually I wondered why keep it to myself? If other people can share their ideas, why can’t I?
Within just a few months, Starfire Ever Moore was born and my imagination was unleashed! With God's help and the guidance and support of my family, I have been able to make my dreams come true. Thank you to all of the fans who have supported me throughout my journey. |
